Our front office team is here to help with all your scheduling, financial, and insurance needs. Most often, they’ll be the first smiling faces you’ll see when you come into the office. They’re always available to answer any question you may have and they want to make your time here as pleasant, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. They always try to provide the very best customer service available to ensure you not only get an effective and excellent outcome from your treatment, but also enjoy your time in our office.

I am super excited to have joined the wonderful family of Aurora Orthodontics & Periodontics. I enjoy being able to help coordinate the running of the office and guide our patients with their financial and treatment options. I have been in the dental field for 20 years, and truly enjoy what I do. I graduated in 2002 from NLU with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing which has greatly enhanced my management skills. I look forward to continuing shaping our patient’s smiles!

I have been working in Dentistry for 5 years now, and I love it. One of my passions is helping others, and here at Aurora Orthodontics and Periodontics I am able to do just that. Being one of the first ones you will meet either walking into our office or scheduling an appointment over the phone, my goal is to provide you with the best customer service and making you feel part of our family. In my spare time I enjoy watching movies or baking with my handsome son and husband.
Cynthia: Front Desk Staff
I have been working in Dentistry since 2012, and I absolutely love it. While I have experience working as a chair side assistant, my current expertise is working in the front desk. I take pride in what I do, and I enjoy helping patients achieve and maintain perfect beautiful smiles.
Our Dental Assistants
Our orthodontic assistant help to place braces, change wires, take any necessary X-rays and photographs, and give instruction on the best ways to take care of your braces or appliance. Sarah and Vero loves meeting new patients and take the time to make sure your treatment is an easy, comfortable and all-around positive experience from the moment you enter the door. Staying on top of technology is of great importance to our assistants, and they can be found taking continuing training classes throughout the year in order to make your treatment as effective and efficient as possible. Our assistants look forward to helping you or your child gain the self-esteem and confidence that comes with a beautiful, straight smile.
We are fortunate to have exceptional dental assistants. Sarah and Vero not only assure that our time together in treatment goes smoothly, but are involved as oral hygiene educators, providing pre- and post-surgical care and are responsible for much of the behind the scenes support, such as sterilization, cleanliness, and infection control.

I became a dental professional in May of 2011 and have never looked back! It is a people based profession and I am all about connecting with my patients and giving them the very best. Whether it is ensuring your comfort during your visits or getting the information that you seek to help you meet your goals, it is my pleasure to serve your needs.
I have grown a passion for orthodontic care after extensively studying the latest advancements and techniques that Aurora Orthodontics & Periodontics has to offer.
I have also taken tremendous pride in the work that our doctors and the team provide to our patients. With their extensive studies in Orthodontics and Periodontics and the advanced technology and materials that we utilize, the results that our patients get are amazing and stunning. It is very rewarding to be part of helping those who are most important to us get the smile of their dreams. I truly enjoy working with this great team and highly recommend our practice to everyone that I know and meet.
Megan: Chair Side Assistant
I love working with patients and enjoy working with Dr. Chacon and Dr. Patino because we are truly a family here, where all care for one another, and sincerely care for our patients. I attended Waubonsee Community College, where I received my dental certificate. I am both Orthodontics assistant and Periodontal Surgery Assistant.

I have been a dental Assistant for about 20 years. Throughout these years, I have had the opportunity to use my skills in Oral Surgery, Periodontics, Hygiene, General Dentistry and of course my favorite Orthodontic Assisting. I have work side by side with remarkable Doctors to provide the best dental care quality. Here at our current office, with the use of the most advanced technology and a talented team, we make sure our patients leave feeling comfortable and confident about their smiles. I really enjoy being a part of this team. We make every effort to provide a friendly, safe environment where patients can feel like they are part of our family and reach our goal of giving you a beautiful smile.
